Michael Mirasol of RogerEbert.com throws the hammer down at basically the entire modern romance genre in his review of our movie, BRIEF ENCOUNTER. It will be interesting to hear our thoughts, because unlike Mean Michael here, we happen to like meet-cutes and out of control romances. And there is definitely some pressure here. From a great filmmaker (David Lean) and very high on the list of British Films throughout history, this movie has some high gates to clear. Also, unbeknownst to either of our hosts, they will have to talk about suicide...again.
